2 Shenton Road – Specialist Medical Centre – 15 December 2025 to 26 February 2027
Westbound
left lane closure at the intersection of Davies Road and Shenton Road
for the purpose of constructing a new specialist medical centre. This
includes closure of the southern footpath. However, westbound traffic
will still be operational. The straight through and right turn will be
shared from the right lane.
3 Shenton Road – The Terrace Residential – 15 December 2025 to 26 September 2027
Eastbound
lane closure between Davies Road and Graylands Road for the purpose of
constructing an apartment building. This includes closure of the
northern footpath. Whilst the Town acknowledges that
the proposed traffic lane and footpath closures on Shenton Road shall
impact traffic movement and local residents in the area, we believe the
closures as proposed are the best course of action to ensure
construction is completed as soon as possible and to ensure the
safety of the community at all times. Careful consideration has been
given to alternative proposals in consultation with the builders
involved with the construction works.
